The Constitution of the United States: a reading

February 20, 2017

February 20, 2017

19:00 To 22:00

Nonic, Broadway Avenue, Columbus, GA, United States

Event Description

The Constitution is a document that lays out what the founders of our nation saw for our future as the United States of America. They had incredible foresight keeping in mind that the nation was in its infancy when they were crafting the document. It has gone through changes, amendments and contention. We want to spend time hearing what it says out loud. Bringing life to the foundation of our nation. Hearing the liberty and justice.

On Presidents Day we will gather to let freedom ring true. We want you to find it in yourself to share your personal stories that are tied to the Constitution and the Amendments. It’s an important document that governs our every day lives, so we encourage you to spend time with it and think of how you, personally, are affected by what it says. If you feel led to share, please do, but we encourage everyone to come hear the words that brave individuals will defend for all of the people in our nation.
